What is the flavoring in Dunhill's Light Flake? To me, in the tin it smells like pineapple and cloves, similar to the ingredients one may use in baking a ham. In the pipe the flavor is very subtle, almost non-existent; the tobacco itself is very mild. Does anyone else have an opinion about this tobacco? I recently purchased from the Dunhill store in London two other tobaccos

Hi Sheldon and all, just thought about writing about this tobacco. Just smoked a full bowl of this in a Cavicchi rusticated str. apple. This pipe still stays 'mute', there's no other way describing it. But very dry and feels to to be made for business. One tin of Light Flake has been hiding in my stash for two years; just two weeks ago I popped it.. This is not light in any way, not in colour or taste. (or nicotine) I guess someone would call it mild, to me it feels a very good matured Virginia with just a ghost of top-dressing. Something between that ' aftershave' stuff and , yes, pineapple (sigh). I like it a lot , the top-note isn't at all overwhelming and the tobacco itself is really tasty and top grade Virginia. I think I'll get myself some more tins of this and forget them again on the backshelf for a couple of years.... Like it a lot... Tapio Sheldon Rutman wrote in message <8281kf$

Sheldon, not so big and bold with your type. Others on the NG may become offended. Try plain text. Me, I really don't care. Dave Sheldon Rutman <
